You have arrived at a page which acts as a place holder for our inactive community web sites. Here are some of the questions that people ask of us who arrive here:
Why are these inactive? We registered these to create community friendly web sites that helps and promotes the community. Where the sites are active we have helped groups get a web site, domain name and hosting for free!
Who controls the Domain Name? We do, 3DC.org.uk are made up of community orientated people, the sites have a "charter" which stops them being used in inappropriate ways.
Why haven't you started the web site? We don't start the web site until we have a local person who can help with either controling or developing the web site. We could launch the site without key local content but it would break our charter!
Interested?
Interested in getting your community web site up and running? We handle all the techy stuff, unless you want the techy stuff! We need people to update the noticeboard, take photos and act as a liaison between the web site and the groups, and individuals out there that want to take advantage of the internet for their community.
We offer training in a variety of areas, from computers to photography.
